SURNAMES - U Harold Peele Uglow (1881-1959). Richard Cory Uglow (1785-1859). Richard Cory Uglow (1850-1913) founded the Plymouth business of Messrs R C Uglow and Son, which later became Messrs Uglow's Bakeries Limited. William Uglow (1816-1872), a Cornishman by birth, was the father of Mr Richard Cory Uglow (1850-1913). Emily Underhill, born circa 1826 in Devonport, was a resident assistant mistress at Lady Hannah Rogers' Charity School in Plymouth according to the census taken on Sunday April 7th 1861. Frank Underhill (1867-1948) founded of the printing and stationery business that became Messrs Underhill (Plymouth) Limited. Frank Andrew Underhill (1895-1979). John Underhill appeared on the list of "Freemen and House-holders of the Borough of Plymouth, entitled to vote for Members of Parliament" in July 1832.
