WALKHAM VIADUCT

Walkham Viaduct, Horrabridge.
From a postcard.

Walkham Viaduct, at 10 miles 14 chains mile post mileage from Tavistock Junction on the Launceston Branch, was originally a timber structure but was rebuilt.

It was reputed to be 367 yards long and stood 132 feet high.  These dimensions cannot be guaranteed.

The new Viaduct was brought in to use in September 1910.
