BLATCHFORD VIADUCT (STORRIDGE WOOD VIADUCT)

Blatchford Viaduct, referred to on early Ordnance Survey maps as Storridge Wood Viaduct, is 237 miles 20 chains mile post mileage from London Paddington Station via Bristol Temple Meads.

The Viaduct over the River Yealm is stated to be 309 yards long.

When the main line between Ivybridge Station and Blatchford Viaduct was being doubled during 1892-93 a temporary signal box was brought in to use at 237 miles 5 chains.
