TRAMWAY SERVICE "2"

Commencement (see note A below)

When through running was introduced on Monday October 23rd 1916, this route was a combination of Plymouth Corporation's Theatre Royal to Peverell Corner and Devonport and District Tramway Company's Fore Street to Tor Lane services.

Theatre Royal, Lockyer Street, Princess Square, Westwell Street, Basket Street, Old Town Street, Tavistock Road, North Hill, Mutley Plain, Hyde Park Road, Peverell Park Road, Tavistock Road, Milehouse, Tavistock Road, Trafalgar Road, Paradise Road, Fore Street.

Fare was one penny for any distance on any one car.  'Children 2 years of age and over must be paid for'.
